A collaboration with Reiach and Hall Architects to re-landscape the forecourt of Loudoun Hall, one of Ayr’s finest and oldest public buildings, dating back to the 15th century. Unravelling the recent and distant history of this important public space, items included wall carvings of the motto of the 1st Earl of Loudoun, a ship’s rudder and a lead circle set into the paving stones (reputedly where Ayr’s first witch was burnt), a tactile bronze model of the building, and a Scots pie cast in bronze.
In collaboration with:
P.A.C.E, Reiach & Hall Architects, Martin Bellwood, Russell Coleman, Owen Cunningham and Louice Lusby Taylor
