The project was to kit out Jersey’s new maritime museum with interactive artifacts. As lead artist the role was to create and comission a range of items that included a giant globe automata, a sea shanty duke box, etc.
Outside the museum the maritime theme is continued with paving and granite seating inscribed with the semaphore code; bollards describing fisherman’s knots and longitude and latitude of the harbour attached to the wall of the quayside.
